Bomb Threat In South African Court Stops Proceedings

A bomb threat yesterday disrupted proceedings at a court in
Johannesburg, South Africa, where convicted Czech fugitive Radovan Krejcir was
due to be sentenced for crimes including attempted murder, dealing in drugs
    and kidnapping, BBC reports.
It has not been established if the threat had to do with
Krejcir who has spent the day trying to get the judge to recuse himself,
    accusing him of being bias.
Krejcir and his five co-accused were taken downstairs and
everyone in the public gallery were asked to leave the court while the police
    investigate the threat.

Krejcir is considered a flight risk, having attempted
multiple times to escape since his arrest late in 2013. Another date would be
    fixed for his sentence.
