Gov. Dickson’s Wife Very Much Alive- Aide

Governor Seriake Dickson’s aide has dismissed the rumours
the Bayelsa Governor’s wife, Dr Mrs Rachael Dickson is dead according to many websites
who broke the untrue story this morning.

Dr Idumange, a social media aide to Dickson said it is “a
wretched falsehood propelled by some cruel, frustrated and mindless haters who
are envious of the robust support the First Lady gives to her beloved husband
Governor Seriake Dickson to serve Bayelsa and humanity in general,” a statement
he released this afternoon said.

“Worried by the piece of propaganda, we put a call through
to Her Excellency this morning and spoke with her. The First Lady is healthy,
energetic and full of life and wondered why political detractors and enemies of
progress would want her dead. She said it is obvious that the Almighty God will
give her long life and good health to continue to serve as a pillar of support
to her beloved husband Governor Seriake Dickson. It is important to recall that some frustrated and
cruel-minded people in Bayelsa State have made telling lies, propaganda and
peddling falsehood their stock-in-trade. We thought this would stop with the
successful inauguration of Governor Seriake Dickson for a second term in office,’’
the statement added.
