A middle-aged female passenger was on Wednesday found dead

It was gathered that the passenger, whose identity was not
revealed, was billed to travel to Abu Dhabi, United Arabs Emirates, on Etihad

Sources said the deceased was on her way to the UAE to seek
medical treatment for an undisclosed ailment.

According to the General Manager, Corporate Affairs, Federal
Airports Authority of Nigeria, Mr. Yakubu Dati, the corpse was discovered at
about 6.30am.

Dati said the remains of the deceased had been taken to the
Lagos University Teaching Hospital, Ikeja, for autopsy.

The FAAN spokesman, however, declined to reveal the identity
