at the glittering event for 1,500 dignitaries from 130 countries by wearing the
jewellery designed by Garrard in 1914. It is the fourth time Kate, 33, has worn
a tiara, choosing the Cartier Halo tiara for her 2011 wedding, the Queen
Mother’s Lotus Flower tiara for the Queen’s annual diplomatic reception in 2013
and the same headpiece at the state banquet in October. She was joined by a
dapper Prince William and Prince Charles who were both in white tie for the
event which is attended by senior royals and is the largest bash held annually
at the Palace.
