Oliseh Strips Vincent Enyeama Of Captaincy

There was a great disagreement between the new Super Eagles
coach, Sunday Oliseh and the Super Eagles captain, Vincent Enyeama yesterday in
Belgium. Though the two parties are yet to disclose what led to the big disagreement,
Oliseh however phoned in to Brilla Fm this morning, where he told the sports
anchor that Ahmed Musa has been named the new captain of Super Eagles and not
Vincent Enyeama who has been too busy for him. He further went on to say, just
like president Buhari has chosen his ministers, that’s the exact thing he is
also doing with the football team.
Shortly after Oliseh’s words, Enyeama also took to his IG
page to hint that his coach made a rude statement about his late mom which he
    will never accept.
It will be recalled that Enyeama buried his mother over the
weekend in his home town, with the State Governor, Dep, Governor, commissioners,
Local Government chairmen and NFF officials all gracing the occasion. Read what
Oliseh told Brila FM first and what Vincent said afterwards all after the cut.

“There is no captaincy tussles …For Nigeria going forward, I
need a player who is regular in the team and it is Ahmed Musa, who did a great
job in Tanzania under very difficult circumstances,” Oliseh said in a radio
interview with Brila FM on Wednesday morning from Belgium.
“He (Musa) is the captain of the team, not somebody who is
    thinking of retirement.
“A captain has to lead by example. We are not here to build
    stars.
“If you don’t conform to what I am trying to do, we will be
friends, but we will be friends from afar.
“There has been a new government and the President has
picked new ministers. And that is what I have also done.”
