The younger brother of Moshood Abiola, who won the annulled
June 12, 1993 presidential election, Mubashiru Abiola is dead. The younger
Abiola died on Friday at his home in Gaa Sabo area of Abeokuta after a
protracted illness. He was buried on Saturday and aged 74. When newsmen on
Saturday went to pay the family a visit, they observed family members still
wailing and grieving over his death.
