Among the 10 people who hails from Sokoto who have been confirmed
dead from the hajj stampede last Thursday are; Alhaji Belloe Gidan-Hamma, the immediate
Caretaker Chairman of Illela Local Government Area of the state, his mother, stepmother
and two wives.
