Photos: Aguda Surulere Youths Writes In About Their Abandoned Road

The Youths of Aguda, Surulere in Lagos, wrote in today to
talk about the long abandoned Adetola road which they say it’s one of the most
plied roads in Surulere and also leads to diverse locations such as Coker,
    Festac, Mile2 and Badagry. Here’s what they sent in;

    Good
    Morning Ladun,
    We
want to thank you for the good work you have been doing and God will bless you
    richly.
    Ladun you
know this our country is all about commotions and dishonesty. We are the youth
of Adetola road, Aguda . Surulere. Imagine in this 21st century
our roads are considering like what someone haven’t seen in their villages.

    This
road (Adetola street/road. Aguda) is the longest in Aguda and it takes
you to diverse locations like (Coker, Festac, Mile2, Badagry e.t.c).
    The
road was assigned to Plycon Construction Limited two years
ago, they lavished the funds and also re-allocated last year
to same Plycon Construction Limited but same thing happened
    again.
    Imagine
they packed their machines there and bought some locking stones just to hang it
by the roadside and misinform people.  The locking stones have been there
for ages and the contract has been uncontrolled. Here are the images below.
    Please Ladun,
kindly assist us to post this article and if we can get whom the contract are
been allocated to. Thank you Ladun and God bless you.
    Kind Regards
    Aguda Youths
