Fourteen year-old child bride, Wasilat Tasiu who was accused of killing her husband and three of his friends have been discharged by a Kano High Court in Gezawa, today.

Commissioner for Justice, “the case is hereby terminated and the accused is
discharged”.
Sometime last year the case seems lost, with a lot of Nigerians and her family almost losing hope in it. This is the best news i have reported today. So excited about this.
Incase you don’t know what we are talking about, Wasilat was forcefully married away against her wish of still going to school. She later poisoned her husband and his friends who had come to have lunch in their house, with the intention that she would be free after they die, not knowing it will cause more trouble for her. Anyway the good news is that Tasiu is now free.
