divorcees in a mass wedding so as to reduce the rate of ‘sin’ in the State. The

State Hisbah Commission, Dr Atiku Zawiyya said they are happy the State
Government has decided to assist the widows association to help the body to
tackling its problems. He also told pressmen that the activities of the
association were in line with the tenets of Islam and the promotion of the
Shari’a.
