A private trailer loaded with arms has been intercepted
today in Jos. The trailer was intercepted by a traffic police officer on duty, but
the driver refused to be stopped and searched by the police. Has he made way to
try and escape, he got involved in an accident, which forced the trailer to
stop.

The area has now been cordoned off by armed soldiers.
