The Washington Post yesterday criticised President Goodluck
Jonathan over a campaign slogan (#BringBackGoodluck2015) in support of his
re-election in 2015, which is very similar to the popular slogan
#BringBackOurGirls used to pressurize his Government to bring back the over 200
kidnapped Chibok girls, who have been missing since April.

A lot of Nigerians online have also condemned the campaign slogan,
saying it is ridiculous, unjust and just a mockery of the innocent girls that are still missing.

UPDATE: President Goodluck Jonathan has directed that the
#Bring Back Jonathan 2015 signs and banners around Abuja should be brought down
immediately. He stated in a press statement released to the media this morning
that the banners were put up without his knowledge or approval and it’s a highly
insensitive parody of the #Bring Back Our Girls hash tag.
