The son of former president, Olusegun Obasanjo, Adeboye
Obasanjo was today shot by Boko Haram men in an attack launched at the military
today in Mubi.
He was with other Lieutenant Colonels and majors and were all heading towards Michika when Boko Haram fighters unleashed the deadly attack on them.
24 soldiers in the platoon were reportedly killed by the
rebels. Adeboye Obasanjo, an army engineer, was a Lieutenant Colonel at the
3rd Division in Jos, Plateau State. When reporters contacted Obasanjo family, they were told the head of their clam was on his way to Singapore.
