We Are Both Tired Of The Marriage But Waiting For Who Would Leave First

I really need your
reader’s advice on an issue that is of huge concern to me and I will appreciate
if they give me a very candid advice on this issue has it’s been a source of
huge concern and utmost importance to me.

My name is Talo, I am married and I live in the US. I met my
husband through my sister who visited Nigeria and told my husband then that I
am now a big girl and since then we kept talking until, he came to the US and
we got married. The relationship was wonderful and I was happy. I discovered
that he was cheating on me right here in the US. He kept doing that till I delivered my baby.

One day I was going through his phone and I saw a chat he
had with his friend in Nigeria. He told his friend that he can’t marry an American girl that he just needs to get what he wants and move on with his
life. Also any time he sees someone going to Nigeria he always sends things to a
particular girl I am yet to know.

I met a guy recently who I am in love with and we have been
talking for couple of months now. The problem here now is that my dad does not want
me to leave him, he says he should be the one to leave me. And he has also been
telling his friends that he wants me to be the first to leave. I know this
because a reliable friend of mine who is now his friend told me and he shows it in his character. 

My fear is losing this guy I just met while waiting for my
husband to do his worst.

I don’t love him again but I am worried about my dad’s
advice, what people will say and the fear of losing this new guy.
