An Ilorin high court has sentenced two men who kidnapped
Biodun Baraje, the son of the former acting National Chairman of Peoples Democratic
Party, Alhaji Kawu Baraje in 2010. Biodun was kidnapped at a filling station
along Asa Dam road in Ilorin.

They were sentenced for criminal conspiracy to commit
kidnap, extortion and armed robbery. The judge also noted that they were four
who committed the offence, but two were still at large.
