Mr Versa & Hamamat
A Ghanaian court has ordered the arrest of Miss Hamamat
Montia, who won Miss Malaika in 2006 for failing to appear before it. Miss Hamamat
was accused of stealing an unregistered Toyota Highlander 2008, from her ex-boyfriend,
Versa Keskinen. Mr Versa claimed he made payment for the vehicle before
travelling out of the country in a hurry for a business transaction. On getting
back to the country, he was told that his girlfriend had already come for the
vehicle. It was later gathered that, Miss Hamamat registered it in her name and all efforts to get the vehicle back proved abortive. The case was reported to
the Police and she was charged to court.
