Scheduled for March 15, 2025, this remarkable feat aims to raise awareness about the challenges faced by citizens with low-mobility passports, particularly Nigerians.

Asinobi’s decision to take on this challenge is deeply personal, driven by her own experiences with visa rejections and the limitations imposed by her Nigerian passport. Through her journey, she seeks to inspire others to explore the world despite these obstacles and to spark a conversation about passport privilege.

“I’m doing this to show that, despite the limitations, it’s possible to see the world with a Nigerian passport,” Asinobi explained. “I want to highlight the issue of passport inequality and how it affects not just Nigerians but people from other countries with low-mobility passports.”

Asinobi’s record attempt will take her from Antarctica to Australia, with stops on every continent in between. She will be sharing updates on her journey on social media, using the hashtag #AlmaChasingContinents.

She captioned:” On March 15, 2025, Alma Asinobi will take on the challenge of breaking the Guinness World Record for the “Fastest Time to Visit All Continents.”

We’re rooting for you, @almaasinobi”
