During the 14th minute of their home game against Bournemouth at the Emirates Stadium, players and spectators observed a moment of silence in honor of Daniel.

A banner reading “RIP Daniel” was displayed, and an image of the schoolboy was shown on the stadium’s big screen.

Daniel was attacked while walking to school in Hainault, east London.

The suspect, a 36-year-old man, was later cornered and overpowered by police officers using a taser.

The incident left four others injured, including two police officers, with one officer nearly losing her hand during the apprehension.
