Bimpe Akintunde has taken to her Instagram page to alert her fans about a scammer who has been impersonating her and defrauding people
The scammer has been using Bimpe’s pictures and name to deceive unsuspecting victims into sending money.
Bimpe shared a screenshot of a chat she had with someone who claimed to have narrowly escaped being scammed by the impersonator. The person had insisted on a video call, which the scammer was unable to fulfill, thus revealing their true intentions.
In her caption, Bimpe expressed her frustration and disappointment at the scammer’s actions.
Bimpe warned her fans to disregard any messages from anyone claiming to be her and asking for money. She also appealed to her followers to help her report the scammer’s WhatsApp and OPay accounts to the relevant authorities.
