The world-famous DJ who played at Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz’s wedding has set the record straight on speculation that Victoria Beckham ‘slut-dropped’ on the dancefloor
As part of his lengthy Instagram statement on Monday night confirming the feud with his family, Brooklyn, 26, claimed the former Spice Girl ‘hijacked’ his first dance with Nicola, 31, and also danced ‘inappropriately on me’ in front of their guests.
He went on to say that he had never felt more ‘uncomfortable or humiliated’ in his life.
DJ Fat Tony, who was thought to be close friends with the Beckham family, was invited to perform at the nuptials in April 2022, and has addressed the mounting rumours about what Victoria, 51, did to cause her eldest son’s ‘embarrassment.’
During his appearance on ITV1’s This Morning on Friday, Tony – real name Anthony Marnoch – said: ‘There was no slut dropping, there was no PVC cat suits, no Spice Girl action, the word “inappropriate”, why I said it was as well, it was the timing, this is what happened.’
He continued: ‘Marc Anthony was performing on stage, he then called Brooklyn on stage, he went onto the stage, everyone was expecting it to be Nicola to be the first dance, then Mark Anthony asks “the most beautiful woman” to come to the stage.
‘Then he says “Victoria come to the stage”, Victoria is by the stage, she goes onto the stage, of course, at that point, suddenly, literally, Brooklyn is devastated, he thought he was going to do his first dance with his wife.’
According to Tony, this sparked a huge reaction from the bride who stormed out of the room.
‘Then Nicola leaves the room crying her eyes out, Brooklyn is stuck on stage,’ Tony said.
‘They do this dance and then Marc Anthony goes “Put your hand on your mother’s hips”. It was a Latin thing.
‘That whole situation was really awkward for everyone on the room.
‘I’ve done an awful lot of Beckham parties in the past, they are a dancy family. They love to dance. What we deem as inappropriate, it’s not how Brooklyn feels. It’s about how Brooklyn feels,’ he explained.
