Onyii Alex has openly criticised some prominent Igbo businessmen for aligning themselves with the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), expressing frustration over what she described as betrayal within the community
Taking to Instagram, the actress questioned the loyalty of those backing the current administration despite ongoing insecurity in the Southeast and growing public dissatisfaction. In a strongly worded post, she wrote:
“Are you sure ‘Judas’ wey sell Jesus no be Igbo man?? It’s funny how we Igbos can no longer travel safe to our villages., Even the rich now use private jets because road isn’t safe yet they are standing on a failed mandate..
Oga Igbo as you Dey sell your brother, the buyer no go still trust you.”
Her remarks come amid conversations surrounding the political stance of influential businessmen such as Obi Cubana and Cubana Chief Priest, who have shown support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the APC.
Onyii Alex’s comments have since sparked mixed reactions online, with some agreeing with her position while others argued that individuals are entitled to their political choices.
