A video has sparked widespread attention online, featuring a man claiming to be the biological father of Fulham defender Calvin Bassey
In the emotional video, Kingsley Ikenna alleged that his ex-wife has denied him access to his adult sons, including the Super Eagles star, despite his efforts to reconnect.
Ikenna, who lives in Italy, explained that he and his family initially relocated to England but faced challenges converting their Italian papers to British ones..
He claimed his ex-wife refused to return to Italy, and he was forced to leave for Italy alone, cutting off his contact with their children.
The man is now appealing to Nigerians for help in reuniting with his sons, insisting he’s not seeking out Calvin Bassey for fame, but to reestablish their relationship.
"Please Nigerians should help me. Wherever I must have wronged my wife, she should please forgive me so I can have access to my children. My wife took my children and ran away with them."
