Cardi B has found a unique way to commemorate her baby’s birth
After giving birth to her fourth child, her first with boyfriend Stefon Diggs, the rapper, 33, decided to commemorate her birth by casting a piece of her umbilical cord into gold chrome.
Cardi enlisted Mommy Made Encapsulation for their Umbilical Cord Keepsake to create the special memento, PEOPLE confirmed.
According to the company’s website, the keepsake is the baby’s “umbilical cord dehydrated in the shape of a heart and then dipped in gold chrome.” Purchasing the stylized and preserved cord is $50, but the company also offers a $500 Placenta Encapsulation Service, which converts a woman’s placenta into pills.
In a video shared by the company, someone can be seen forming the mom of four’s keepsake. Another video shows that Cardi also opted for a placenta print, which is another service the company offers.
