Influencer Enioluwa Adeoluwa has condemned the habit of some people who eagerly await the downfall of others’ marriages
He defined this behavior as “terrible” and questioned why individuals would derive joy from others’ misery.
Enioluwa attributed this attitude to bitterness, advising those who feel this way to seek healing and introspection.
He noted that when others’ happiness triggers sadness or jealousy, it’s a sign of inner turmoil that needs to be addressed, warning that such negativity can drain happiness from one’s own life.
He wrote: “It is a terrible thing to look at two people get married and all that is in your heart is hoping that one day it will go sour for them. Even worse, to actually pick up your phone and type that hate into a comment or a tweet.
If someone else’s happiness triggers sadness or jealousy in you, that’s a clear sign you need to pray and deal with that bitterness. There is a healing you need.
Because truth is — that kind of spirit takes happiness away from your own life.”
