Ruger has cleared the air about his relationship with Davido after a post from a fan stirred up fresh controversy on X
The exchange began when a Davido fan page mocked Ruger with the message:
“When you’re ready to apologize and beg Davido publicly, your song will enter No. 1.”
Ruger immediately responded, questioning the source of the claim:
“And did Davido tell you I did anything wrong to him?”
In another post, Ruger went on to express genuine affection and respect for Davido while dismissing rumours of any rift between them. He wrote:
“I love Davido and I know he loves me too. People on his team still repost my stuff. I will never believe this agenda that he doesn’t f* with me unless he says it to my face or publicly. But if him talk am, everywhere go first blur sha.”**
Ruger’s comments suggest there is no bad blood on his side, and he believes the online narrative of a feud is being pushed by fans—not the artists themselves.
