Actress Ini Edo has bravely shared her personal struggles with childbirth, revealing that she suffered six heartbreaking miscarriages before becoming a mother
The 42-year-old actress made the emotional revelation on the reality show “Young, Famous and African.”
Ini Edo had envisioned a different path for her life, marrying at 26 and expecting to complete child bearing by 31.
However, her journey to parenthood was marked by numerous challenges, including multiple miscarriages, IVF, and pregnancy losses.
With candor and vulnerability, Ini Edo shared her story, saying:
“I got married at the age of 26 because I thought that by 31, I would have been done with childbearing, retired, and focused on my career, but life didn’t go that way. I tried. I have had over six miscarriages. It wasn’t an easy journey for me. I’ve done IVF. I’ve lost pregnancies midway. I know what I’ve dealt with as a woman.”
