The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board has announced a minor change to the reporting time for candidates taking the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME)
In an official update, candidates assigned to the first session are now required to be at their examination centres by 7:00am, replacing the previously stated 6:30am arrival time.

The board maintained that the examination will still begin at 8:30am, noting that all candidates must be properly seated and undergo verification before the start of the test.
JAMB advised candidates to adhere strictly to the revised time, warning that failure to arrive early could affect their ability to sit for the exam.
Candidates were also reminded to carefully review their notification slips for accurate details regarding their exam date, venue, and other important instructions.
