Sean “Diddy” Combs has been sentenced to 50 months in federal prison, just over four years following his conviction on two counts of transporting individuals to engage in prostitution
The charges arose from his use of paid se.x workers for drug-fueled, sometimes violent, parties he called “freak-offs.”

He was acquitted of more serious charges, including racketeering conspiracy and se.x trafficking by force, fra.ud, or coercion.
Combs has been in custody since his September 2024 arrest. With credit for time served, he is expected to serve about three more years. He was also fined $500,000 and will face five years of supervised release upon his release.
During sentencing, Combs expressed deep remorse, acknowledging his past abusive behavior and struggles with drug addiction. His defense highlighted his efforts at rehabilitation while incarcerated, including teaching business skills to fellow inmates. Prosecutors, however, stressed the need for deterrence, citing the severity of his offenses and his history of violent behavior.
