President Bola Tinubu returned to Abuja on Tuesday evening after cutting short his work vacation
The President had departed for France on September 4, 2025, for part of his annual holiday, with plans to also spend time in the United Kingdom.

A statement issued before his departure had indicated the vacation would last 10 working days.
Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, later confirmed on Monday that Tinubu had concluded his work vacation ahead of schedule and would resume official duties in Abuja on Tuesday, September 16, 2025.

While in Paris, President Tinubu held a private luncheon with French President Emmanuel Macron at the Élysée Palace. The leaders reviewed key areas of cooperation between Nigeria and France and agreed to deepen their partnership for mutual prosperity and global stability.
