American YouTube streamer, IShowSpeed, has named Kenya as the standout stop on his expansive African livestreaming tour
In an interview with Yahoo Sport Daily, the 21-year-old content creator said the reception he received in Kenya “just blew me away,” describing it as his most memorable moment of the tour.

Upon arriving in Nairobi, Watkins was greeted by thousands of fans, a turnout so overwhelming that clips of the event quickly went viral across multiple social media platforms. The exposure helped boost his subscriber count to 48 million, a milestone he highlighted during the interview.
“To know I could pull such a crowd, in Africa…it was just crazy to me,” he said, noting that he estimated around 30,000 people had come out to watch him stream and be part of the experience—far beyond what he had expected.
Kenya’s stop on the “Speed Does Africa” tour also provided a boost for the country, with the Kenya Tourism Board turning the event into a strategic opportunity for tourism promotion, youth engagement, and destination marketing.
