Layi has revealed how his uncle travelled to where he lives just to flog him
He shared a personal experience of physical discipline he faced from his uncles, particularly one who traveled a distance to punish him
According to Layi, his poor performance in subjects like physics and mathematics led his parents to consider transferring him to the Art department.
However, his uncle, who had traveled two hours from Ibadan to Osogbo, was dissatisfied with Layi’s results and decided to take matters into his own hands.
Layi assisted his uncle with carrying his luggage from the car, unaware of what was to come.
He then instructed him to lie down, after seeing his result and flogged him.
