Joeboy has clapped back at his critics, who have been labeling his music as “mid” on social media

In a recent appearance on the “Backstage Banter” podcast, Joeboy confidently asserted that there’s nothing “mid” about his achievements.
At just a young age, Joeboy has already achieved significant success in his career, and he believes that’s something to be proud of. He suggested that his critics are motivated by their own unhappiness and frustrations with life.
Joeboy questioned the validity of the term “mid,” implying that it’s just a popular buzzword with no real substance.
He emphasized that true happiness and fulfillment come from within, and that people who are genuinely content with their lives wouldn’t feel the need to criticize others.
“There is nothing ‘mid’ about my existence. The fact that I have been able to get so far at such a young age in my career and still have my head on my shoulders is not ‘mid’ in any way.
I also feel like the people criticizing me are generally not happy with life. Because if you’re genuinely happy with your life, you would not pick up your phone and start attacking somebody.
What exactly is ‘mid’? I think it was just a word that got too popular, and people just started using it.”
