The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited has once again adjusted its petrol price, marking the third reduction recorded in December 2025
Checks at NNPCL filling stations across Abuja on Thursday showed that petrol is now selling at N835 per litre, a drop from the previous N915, representing an N80 reduction.

The latest cut follows earlier price reviews by major marketers including MRS, BOVAS and AA Rano, whose pump prices in the Federal Capital Territory currently range between N739 and N865 per litre.
The downward trend in fuel prices has been linked to recent adjustments by Dangote Refinery and private depot owners, who reduced their ex-depot rates to between N699 and N800.
NNPCL and other marketers had earlier implemented similar price reductions on December 4 and December 10, 2025.
