Omoyele Sowore has provided an update on the ongoing case involving detained crypto entrepreneur BLord and his legal dispute with social media critic VeryDarkMan
Sowore revealed that BLord’s legal team has already filed a bail application, while the police have responded with a counter affidavit opposing his release.

He noted that the matter, in his view, should not have escalated to court in the first place, adding that the judiciary is now waiting to fix a date for the bail hearing.
“The case should not even have come to court in the first place. We are waiting for the court to give us a date for his bail hearing. Blord is doing very fine,” he said.
Sowore also revisited his past intervention in the case involving VeryDarkMan, recalling that he helped secure his freedom during an Easter Sunday incident in 2024.
“If I had not intervened in VeryDarkMan’s situation on Easter Sunday in 2024 which was the first time he experienced freedom, which he now brags about, he wouldn’t be able to do what he’s doing today. If I had abandoned him in prison at that time, things would be very different,” he added.
