Afrobeat artist Seun Kuti has explained his connection to online activist Verydarkman.
Seun, the son of legendary musician Fela Kuti, made it clear that he does not control or influence Verydarkman’s activities online.
During an audio call that Verydarkman shared regarding Bobrisky and the EFCC, Seun stated that he cannot dictate how the activist interprets the crossdresser’s video.
He also added that even if he had tried to stop Verydarkman from posting the audio online, it wouldn’t have worked, as Verydarkman acts based on his own decisions.
Seun then apologized to Femi Falana, saying he didn’t agree with the way Verydarkman spoke about the senior lawyer in the viral video.
He also mentioned that Verydarkman didn’t show him the recording beforehand but only told him about Bobrisky’s alleged bribe involving the EFCC, which was his main concern.
