Gareth Southgate has stepped down as England manager following the team’s defeat to Spain in the Euro 2024 final
Southgate’s tenure lasted nearly eight years, during which he led England to four major tournaments and oversaw 102 matches, winning 61 and losing 17.
Despite his achievements, Southgate’s contract was set to expire in December, but he has chosen to leave immediately.
