Nigerian stars Tems and Burna Boy have pulled ahead of South Africa’s Seether to become the African artists with the most entries on the Billboard U.S. Hot 100
Previously tied with Seether at seven entries each, the Nigerians added to their tally this week thanks to features on J. Cole’s new album, The Fall-Off.
Tems appeared on “Bounce Road Blues” with Future, which debuted at number 34, while Burna Boy featured on “Only You,” entering at number 78. This pushed both artists’ total Hot 100 entries to eight, the highest for any African artist.
Tems has now notched three Hot 100 entries in 2026 alone, following her collaborations on “Raindance” with Dave, “What You Need,” and the new “Bounce Road Blues,” making her the African artist with the most entries this year so far.
Burna Boy, meanwhile, made history as the first African artist to place a song on the Billboard Hot 100 for six consecutive years. His previous entries include Loved By You (2021), Last Last (2022), Sittin’ On Top Of The World and Talibans II (2023), Just Like Me and We Pray (2024), WGFT (2025), and Only You (2026).
