In a now viral video, final-year students of the University of Benin, UNIBEN, during their sign-out ceremony, told their DJ to stop Wizkid’s song calling it “boring” and play a Davido song instead
The video which was shared on X shows students enjoying the event until several of them expressed dissatisfaction with the DJ’s choice of Wizkid’s song, calling it “too boring.”
Their complaints led the DJ to switch to a Davido song, which instantly lifted the atmosphere.
The students began singing and dancing with renewed energy.
The video has since stirred mixed reactions online, with fans of both artists defending their favorites and engaging in debates as expected.
