Reality star Phyna has taken to Instagram to publicly accuse activist VeryDarkMan (VDM) of manipulation and dishonesty, sharing a series of screenshots and lengthy narrations in her Story posts
The feud stems from VDM criticizing Phyna for allegedly betraying him during the aftermath of her sister Ruth’s accident involving a Dangote Group truck.
In her posts, Phyna repeatedly called VDM a liar and a “top-rated manipulator,” claiming he edited their conversations to misrepresent her actions and make her appear uncooperative.
Phyna detailed instances where she felt ignored and undermined, including hospital visits for her sister, communication with a mechanic, and coordination efforts. She wrote: “Very dark man lied on my head and right now… I am this hurt… I am not mentally okay… VDM LIED ON MY HEAD. I am not scared to say my truth.”
She also explained why she went public, saying she was emotionally overwhelmed and needed to defend her side: “I was emotionally down… I didn’t know what I was going through… I was trying to ignore, I’m sorry I couldn’t… If someone lies to me, I can’t take it.”
Phyna accused VDM of manipulating situations, misrepresenting her in videos, and undermining her efforts to keep him informed. She described him as a “betrayal brother” and said the ordeal has severely affected her mental health.
The confrontation has sparked debate online, with some fans supporting Phyna’s transparency and others questioning the public airing of private disputes. The saga highlights the challenges of navigating personal relationships under public scrutiny.
