Activist Martins Vincent Otse, famously known as VeryDarkMan, has openly criticised billionaire entrepreneur Obinna Iyiegbu, popularly called Obi Cubana, following a viral video he shared online.
The clip, posted on Instagram, showed Seyi Tinubu, son of President Bola Tinubu, visiting Obi Cubana’s residence to present him with an appointment letter. The encounter quickly ignited a storm of reactions across social media.
Reacting, VeryDarkMan accused Obi Cubana of behaving more like a subordinate than a celebrated business mogul.
He suggested the billionaire appeared uneasy, giving the impression that he was cornered into the meeting.
Expressing disappointment, the activist remarked that he never expected Obi Cubana to partake in such a scenario, calling it “embarrassing” and “beneath his stature.”
VeryDarkMan went further, questioning Obi Cubana’s political clout.
He claimed the businessman lacks grassroots influence and cannot sway votes in his own region, dismissing him as an “errand runner” rather than a true power broker.
