Rapper Speed Darlington has caught the attention of activist VeryDarkMan, after issuing a public apology to singer Burna Boy.

Earlier, there were reports that Speed Darlington had gone missing, as a friend revealed they hadn’t heard from him for days. It was later discovered that the rapper had been arrested.

On October 9th, Speed Darlington, also known as Akpi, was released from police custody with the assistance of lawyer Deji Adeyanju.

After his release, Speed Darlington publicly apologized through his legal team, stating that his previous comments were meant for entertainment and not intended to harm Burna Boy’s reputation.

The apology surprised many, and VDM’s support for the rapper’s accountability stood out.

VDM said:

“Way to go bro. See, if as a man you feel you’re wrong, apologize and move on. If you feel you’re right, then stand firm…nice one, Speedy, you’re a real man.”

However, VDM was criticized online for not apologizing to Femi Falana but praising Speed Darlington for his apology.
