10 d!e in early morning crash on Lagos-Ibadan Expressway
About 10 persons have been confirmed dead in an auto crash on the popular Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.
The incident occurred at about 5am on Tuesday around the Kara Turning, towards the Interchange area of the highway.
The spokesperson of the Federal Road Safety Corps, FRSC Command in Ogun State, Florence Okpe has confirmed the development.
She confirmed that at least seven other persons were injured in the crash that involved two vehicles, an ash-coloured Toyota Hiace Bus with number plate, FKY898YF and an orange-coloured Iveco Truck Tipper.
According to her, injured victims have been taken to Famobis Hospital for medical attention while the dead bodies were deposited at Idera Morgue, Sagamu.
