At least 11 people have lost their lives after a civilian aircraft crashed in the town of Tomblaine in north-eastern France
Local authorities confirmed that everyone on board the aircraft, including the pilot and 10 passengers, d!ed in the crash. The victims were identified as five students and five instructors.

The aircraft, operated by a parachuting school, reportedly departed from Nancy-Essey Airfield before it went down shortly after takeoff, according to local media reports.

Emergency responders rushed to the scene as police cordoned off the area and advised residents to stay away from the vicinity of the airport in the Meurthe-et-Moselle department.
France’s Interior Minister is also travelling to the crash site as authorities begin investigations into the cause of the accident.
