12-Year-Old With 20 Prior Arrests Steals 89-Year-Old’s Car

This news was featured under Odd
news on UPI and I think it’s really odd. Lol
    A 12-year-old Florida boy with a
long rap sheet was arrested again after stealing a car in St. Petersburg. The
boy approached Raymond Raferty, 89, at a Chevron gas station and is seen
talking to Raferty on surveillance footage before speeding off with his car.
The boy approached Raferty on his
bike claiming that a tire on the passenger side was low on air and when he
exited the vehicle to check, the boy jumped in the driver’s seat and sped off.

“I get over to the other side
and within two seconds he was off the bike, in the car and took
off…screeching!” Raferty told WTSP News. “I was astonished, it just
blew my mind that a kid that age would pull something like that in broad
    daylight.”
When police were able to apprehend
the boy they were less surprised by his actions, as he had been arrested over
20 times since the age of nine. Police say no one was hurt, but Raferty’s car
    was damaged during the incident.
“I think he got into a car
accident,” Raferty told the Tampa Bay Times. “He probably couldn’t
    even reach the pedals.”
