Speed Darlington known for his provocative persona, has made a startling revelation about his numerous run-ins with the law
In a recent Instagram post, he claimed to have been arrested a staggering 19 times and detained on five occasions.
Speed Darlington’s history with law enforcement has been marred by controversy, including two arrests in October and November 2024.
Those arrests were reportedly linked to his public mockery of Burna Boy’s relationship with Sean Combs, aka Diddy.
In a freestyle video, Speed Darlington bragged about his arrest record, rapping, “Five lockups, 19 arrests, I get game but I no dey hear.”
He also referenced his detention at the Kuje Correctional Facility, where he was held until his release on January 21, 2025.
Following his release, Speed Darlington made another shocking claim, alleging that he had narrowly escaped an assassination attempt on his way from a club in Lagos.
This allegation sparked widespread controversy, leading his lawyer, Stan Alieke, to announce that he was severing ties with the rapper.
Speed Darlington responded to the news, stating that Alieke was free, if he was tired of backing him.
