Two young sisters and their teenage babysitter have drowned in the swimming pool of a Colorado mobile home park, according to police.
The tragedy unfolded Monday afternoon in the Pueblo Grande Village in Pueblo, Colorado.
Authorities said officers responded to a call about a drowning shortly after 2 p.m. local time and located three victims — sisters aged two and five along with a 17-year-old sitter.
“Despite CPR efforts by officers and others in an attempt to revive the victims, the three were later pronounced dead,” the Pueblo Police Department said in a statement.
