This 2023 a ga gaaaaaan, lol.
No fewer than 600 women groups, drawn from different parts of the country, will on Tuesday, January 25, converge in Abuja for a solidarity walk for Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi.
The walk is tagged: “One Million Women March for GYB (Gov. Yahaya Bello).
Dr Hanatu Adeeko, Global Coordinator of Women United For Yahaya Bello (WUYABEL) announced this in a statement on Monday in Abuja.
She said the gathering would be the first of its kind, especially now that the political stage was almost set for the 2023 presidential election.
She said the women groups would be drawn from Non-Governmental Organisations, Civil Society organisations, religious, professional bodies, women in media, politics and market women.
She said that top women entrepreneurs, among others, would also be part of the gathering to drum support for the Bello as the country prepared for the 2023 presidential election.
According to her, the women groups, having come to the obvious conclusion that the nation requires one with pedigree, youthfulness and capacity to succeed President Muhammadu Buhari, had taken it upon themselves to collectively canvas support for Bello.
To them, Bello has demonstrated the ability to resolve the myriads of challenges confronting the country.
