The Lagos State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has thrown its full weight behind President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s bid for a second term in office, urging him to contest in the 2027 presidential election
The endorsement came on Tuesday during the APC Stakeholders’ Forum 2025 held at Eko Hotels and Suites, Victoria Island, where thousands of party leaders, members, and supporters gathered to review the administration’s performance and chart the way forward.
The event was attended by Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu; former governors Babatunde Fashola and Akinwunmi Ambode; Deputy Governor Dr Obafemi Hamzat; Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Mudashiru Obasa; ministers, members of the National Assembly, traditional rulers, council chairmen, and youth leaders.
