Veteran musician 2Baba and Edo lawmaker Natasha Osawaru have welcomed their first child together
Rumours had spread earlier on Friday when Osawaru was seen at a medical facility, fueling speculation that she was due for delivery.
The talk was confirmed hours later after she posted a short update on Facebook announcing the arrival of her baby, a message that immediately attracted flood of congratulatory messages.
The birth adds another chapter to a relationship that has remained firmly in the public eye. 2Baba and Osawaru publicly solidified their union earlier this year, months after the singer’s split from longtime wife, Annie Idibia in January.
The pair had a quiet traditional wedding in July.
