As her first Mother’s Day, media personality Toke Makinwa is celebrating this special milestone with heartfelt tributes to her daughter.
Sharing heartwarming photos of herself with her daughter, Toke expressed just how much joy motherhood has brought her. She called her daughter sweet names and said the little one has made motherhood feel effortless.
“My very first Mother’s Day.
Adunola, today I call you my Sweetness.
My first fruit,
The one who’s come to pave the way.
Ease is what you have brought; you make being your mommy easy.”
Toke continued, thanking God for blessing her with her daughter:
“God, thank you for blessing me with this sweet angel,
